💠 What Is “Ranking Up”?
In ChronosWorlds, every hero can increase their Rank — a permanent evolution that unlocks higher maximum levels and stronger base stats.
Ranking Up is different from Leveling Up:
Leveling Up increases a hero’s stats temporarily until they reach their rank-based level cap.
Ranking Up resets them to Level 1, but permanently raises their maximum level and overall power.
⭐ Rank Structure
Each rank defines the maximum level a hero can reach before ranking up again.
| Rank | Max Level |
|---|---|
| ⭐ Rank 1 | Level 10 |
| ⭐⭐ Rank 2 | Level 20 |
| ⭐⭐⭐ Rank 3 | Level 30 |
| ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rank 4 | Level 40 |
| ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rank 5 | Level 50 |
When a hero ranks up, they return to Level 1, but with improved base stats and a higher growth potential.
⚙️ How Ranking Up Works
To rank up a hero:
The hero must be at their maximum level for their current rank.
You must sacrifice other heroes or chickens of the same rank as materials.
| Target Rank | Required Same-Rank Materials | Example Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Rank 2 ⭐ | 1 | Level 10 Rank 1 hero + 1 Rank 1 material |
| Rank 3 ⭐ | 2 | Level 20 Rank 2 hero + 2 Rank 2 materials |
| Rank 4 ⭐ | 3 | Level 30 Rank 3 hero + 3 Rank 3 materials |
| Rank 5 ⭐ | 4 | Level 40 Rank 4 hero + 4 Rank 4 materials |
After ranking up, your traveler resets to Level 1, keeping all unlocked skills but gaining improved base stats and a higher level cap.
🐔 Normal & Quantum Chickens
Chickens are special materials that act as universal rank-up substitutes — they replace a hero of the same rank.
Each chicken has its own rank:
Rank 2 Chicken = one Rank 2 hero
Rank 3 Chicken = one Rank 3 hero
Rank 4 Chicken = one Rank 4 hero
…and so on.
There are two types of chickens in ChronosWorlds:
| Type | Used For | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 🪶 Normal Chickens | Non-NFT heroes | Used to rank up regular (non-NFT) travelers |
| 💠 Quantum Chickens | NFT heroes | Used to rank up NFT travelers, instead of burning extra NFTs |
This distinction is very important:
To rank up a normal hero, you must burn normal heroes or normal chickens.
To rank up an NFT hero, you must burn other NFT heroes — or use Quantum Chickens to make the process easier and save NFTs.
Quantum Chickens are one of the most valuable progression resources in the entire game.
📈 Why Ranking Up Matters
Each new rank brings a clear power boost:
Raises your hero’s maximum level.
Increases base stats (HP, attack, defense, etc.).
Visually evolves your traveler with additional stars.
Ranking Up is one of the core pillars of progression in ChronosWorlds — it’s where effort, strategy, and collection meet.
🧩 Example Progression Flow
| Step | Action | Requirement | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Level hero to 10 | — | Rank 1 → Rank 2 |
| 2 | Level to 20 | 1 × Rank 1 material | Rank 2 → Rank 3 |
| 3 | Level to 30 | 2 × Rank 2 materials | Rank 3 → Rank 4 |
| 4 | Level to 40 | 3 × Rank 3 materials | Rank 4 → Rank 5 |
Each Rank Up resets your hero to Level 1, but makes them significantly stronger overall.
💡 Helpful Tips
Match types correctly — use Normal materials for normal heroes, Quantum materials for NFT heroes.
Save your chickens wisely — use lower-rank ones early, and higher-rank ones for later promotions.
Plan ahead — ranking up NFT heroes requires other NFTs, so Quantum Chickens can save you rare units.
Focus on favorites — investing in a smaller core team is usually more efficient.

Your traveler resets to Level 1 each time, but returns stronger, with higher stats and new potential.Choose your heroes wisely — and use your chickens smartly — as you shape your team’s destiny across ChronosWorlds.
